We are dance specialists. Our mission is to make exciting things happen and happen brilliantly.
We have the know-how to give creative projects lift-off. We have the experience to avoid pitfalls and come up with new approaches. We are two passionate producer/managers with a straightforward approach working in the complex and exhilarating arts landscape.
We are a lean, dynamic team – no inflated fees, no offices to run. Just pure energy, drive, intelligence and creativity. Clearcut was set up in 2013 by Kyla Booth-Lucking and Vicky Thornton.

Artistic Leadership: Acting Artistic Director, business plan development, artistic policy, delivering festivals, programming , commissioning, associate artist programmes, programming, live and screen based national and international touring, partnership building.
Business Management: Acting CEO, governance, budgets and cash flow, annual and quarterly financial reports, staff and board development, monitoring and evaluation, databases and systems.
Human Resources: developing staff, line management and appraisal, working with young volunteers, change management, performance management, student placements and apprenticeships, meaningful volunteering and coaching and mentoring.
Fundraising: Strategy, Arts Council England grants, trusts and foundations, reporting, cultivating relationships and business links to the arts.
Project Management: Working with partners/teams, Logistics, Budgets and Reporting, Project Plans, Scheduling, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Education and Community: Grassroots delivery, Building trust and context for community work, shaping education and professional development programmes and stand alone events, working with academia, delivering training, coaching, mentoring and information and advice surgeries.
Marketing and Communications: developing marketing strategies, audience development, social networking and interactive marketing, print and online campaigns
Moving Image Specialist: programming, commissioning, training, distribution, copyright, licensing rights, contextualisation, film making and executive production.
